Material Handler / Forklift Operator- Warehouse

We are currently searching for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for our warehouse. The right candidate will need to have a Forklift License, be able to communicate effectively, as well as adhere to all safety standards.

Job Description:

• Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Checks incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Also, examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and rectifies areas of concern; completes paperwork or forms required for documentation.
• Operate equipment such as cranes, forklifts, or dollies to move, load, and unload materials within or near the facility, yard, or work site.

Requirements:

•  Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Forklift License
• Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of safety practices
• Skilled in operating forklift and/or other material handling equipment
• Physically demanding, requires long hours of standing and bending
